How to Sell Chickens
Selling chickens is one of our goals. It takes time to hatch and raise them. We are continuing to work on finding the best breed to raise and sell. Yesterday I sold 14 Ameraucanas. They seem to sell best so far. They lay blue eggs. We also sold all of the Polish we have hatched so far. I had lots of people call wanting breeding stock for the Polish but I only had 1 month old chicks for sale. So far not much interest in the Silkie or Wyandotte Chickens. Hopefully that will change once they are a little older. We have found craigslist to be a great tool to sell chickens.
So here is my question-
What breed of chickens are you raising?
Do you prefer blue, white, or brown eggs?
